ChangeMakers is a unique and powerful new service-based leadership program for students.
How It Works
Students work together to raise funds for projects to help increase access to clean water, education & health services for people in need.
The program is broken into 4 phases & takes approximately 8 weeks to complete but is flexible to the student's schedule.
Phase 1: Start
The first step is START! The most important step in any journey is the first one.
During this phase, students will have a kick-off meeting with their Vivid Roots Advisor to help get them to get access to their online portal. The goal is for students to gain clarity for the next steps in this new adventure.
Phase 2: Prepare
This phase is all about getting organized.
It includes 1-2 team meetings and about 1 hour of E-learning that will give the students all the tools they need to prepare and create their project plan.
Phase 3: Execute
Time to put plans into action!
This phase lasts about 4 weeks, students meet 3-4 times and complete about 1 hour of E-learning.
Students will execute their fundraising ideas while utilizing the tools and strategies they learned from the E-learning portal.
Phase 4: Reflect
Time to wind down!
Some donations might still be flowing in but now it's time to reflect on individual & team experience and performance.
Students will be prompted to reflect with a brief reflection exercise and have a final debrief meeting.
